“I am seeking to represent Warren on the WHRHS Board of Education because I bring a fresh and informed perspective. As a parent guiding two students through the college application process, I want to preserve and enhance the quality of teaching and college placement. If elected, I intend to monitor the implementation of the recent curriculum level consolidation to ensure the most successful academic placement for our students. As a Realtor in the district, I understand the correlation between our school performance and our property values. I am committed to contributing my skills in human resource and financial management to achieve continuous improvement at WHRHS.”

Diane grew up in Chatham Township, and attended Chatham High School, Kean and Fairleigh Dickinson Universities. Diane has an extensive management background with IBM, Chubb Group and Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ.

Diane has lived in Warren Township for over 18 years, with her husband, John Sarno, and her two daughters, Elizabeth, a 2010 WHRHS graduate, and Carolyn, currently a junior at WHRHS. Diane served 6 years as a Parent Representative at Warren Middle School, 5 years as a class parent at Mount Horeb Elementary School, and 12 years as a Warren Girl Scout Leader. Diane has been a licensed Realtor for the past 16 years.
