Got a Green Idea? Get Onboard May 12 Spring Green Fair

Local participants needed for Warren Green Team event at Wagner Farm Arboretum.

On May 12, the Warren Township Green Team will host a “Spring Green Fair” at the Wagner Farm Arboretum on Mountain Avenue in Warren Township. The Fair will be in conjunction with other programs held by the Arboretum Foundation such as Blooms programs, the plant sale, and the Children’s Garden celebration.

Local community groups and businesses are invited to participate in the Spring Green Fair free of charge. If interested in participating, the following criteria must be met:

  1. Limited space is free.
  2. The ability to demonstrate a connection to the environment and provide information on “green” goods of value is preferred.
  3. Participants must provide table, chairs, and display. Maximum recommended space is 3-feet by 6-feet (Provide space requirements).
  4. All participants must be available to set up and clean up and to remain for the duration of the Fair from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on May 12th.

Participants are asked to send a brief explanation of your participation. Any group hosting a recycling activity will be required to submit a tonnage report.

Submit contact information, including name, address, phone, and email, by email to Laura Mandell, chairwoman to the Green Team at LauraGM1@aol.com. For information, contact the Warren Township Clerk’s office at 908-753-8000, ext. 221 or 222. Deadline to submit proposals is March 29.

The Warren Township Green Team will select participants. Participation may be limited depending upon space requirements. All participants will be notified during the week of April 2.
