OEM Bulletin: Updated Information for Residents

Text of phone messages being delivered Wednesday afternoon.

This is a message from the Warren Township Office of
Emergency Management with current information.

Mayor Dinardo and the Township Committee have spoken with
the President of JCP&L, the governor’s office and our legislators
to advocate for the restoration of power to Warren Township.
Additional information about power updates can be found on
the Warren Township webpage at warrennj.org For residents
without power who wish to use WIFI or charge batteries, the
warming center at Stonecrest Church on 11 Technology Drive
will be opened until Thursday, Nov 3 at 9PM. Power has returned
to the Municipal Center and the Library will be open all day
Friday and Saturday. The Warren Health and Racquet Club
continued to offer showers from 7A – 8P. Bring your own towels
and toiletries. There is bottled water and cleaning kits at Police
Headquarters. A pump to collect water to flush toilets is located
near the batting cage at the municipal fields. Please tell your
friends and neighbors without electricity about these resources.
The municipal employees, the Township committees and scores
of volunteers have once again stepped up to the plate to provide
support and pressure to rectify the damages and lack of power
outages resulting from the storm.
