Road Projects Set to Begin Soon

King George Road first up for repairs.

Driving on King George Road in the area of Ferguson Road is a rough ride—but a project to rebuilt the road starting around July 9 will return the drive to smooth sailing.

The project is one of about eight road projects the approved for the summer, and according to Township Administrator Mark Krane, the projects cover much longer sections of road than the township has generally undertaken in the past.

"We're taking an aggressive role here, which we need to do," Township Committeeman Gary DiNardo said at the June 21 committee meeting.
