Township Gets Letter of Praise

Contractor enjoyed working on township project.

Here's a twist: the township recently received a letter praising municipal employees from the company performing the Dock Watch Hollow Road work.

According to Mayor DiNardo, the letter was sent by the president of Z Brothers Contracting, of Sayreville. He read the letter at the Sept. 8 Township Committee meeting.

"Our company recently finished a road reconstruction project on Dock Watch Hollow Road and I wanted to take the time to write and share what a pleasure it was to work in your township.

"We work with a lot of towns throughout New Jersey and it was so nice to talk to people who actually work with you and did so pleasantly and effortlessly, including residents.

"My employees interacted with Louise (Administrative Secretary Louise Small) in the engineering department. The police department and any other department we had to work with was always a pleasant transaction.

"In todays' world, most people do not always feel the need to be pleasant or professional anymore. Thank you for instilling the right atmosphere in your people. We look forward to the opportunity to work in Warren again," the letter concluded.

"So, what a nice compliment for our residents and our employees of Warren Township," Mayor DiNardo said.

Perhaps the letter will be included in future requests for bids...
