Tuesday Voting Moved from OLM to Stonecrest

Voters who usually head to Our Lady of the Mount Church to vote will be casting ballots at Stonecrest Community Church instead, Tuesday. 

Other voters will be able to vote at their usual locations. 

The change is due to the lack of electrical service at OLM, and the expectation that service may not be restored in time.

Warren Districts 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 vote at OLM.

Under plans announced yesterday by the Division of Elections, in the Department of State, county clerks requested local officials to determine which sites might be available for voting and any possible alternative locations. That information was then relayed to the county Board of Elections for review and approval.

Voters can also pick up a mail-in ballot at the Somerset County Clerk’s Office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, or 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday (the deadline for returning mail-in ballots). Residents who pick up a vote-by-mail ballot Saturday, Sunday or Monday will be able to complete it and drop it off at the Board of Elections, located next to the County Clerk’s Office.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
