VIDEO: Insurance Fund Awards Township $1,000

The Garden State Municipal Joint Insurance Fund, which provides casualty and property insurance coverage for Warren Township, awarded the township with its "Level A" status in its annual safety incentive program.

The program is aimed at encouraging municipalities to provide safety training and procedures for following up on claims—in the case of Warren, the encouragement includes $1,000, which the township must use for continued safety training for employees.

Township Administrator noted this is the third year the township has received the award, one for each year of its participation.

The award was announced at the 's special budget meeting at the April 4.
