Voting Moved Out of Schools

Seven of township's 13 districts impacted by new election locations.

Just ahead of this year's school balloting, the polling locations have been changed.

According to Warren Township Clerk Patricia DiRocco's office, voting for all elections will now be consolidated in four locations. The change primarily ends voting at schools, which also allows for longer hours—polls will be open from  7 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 27.

Not all of the districts have been moved—the affected districts are highlighted in bold:

If it's all too confusing, voters can also opt for a mail-in ballot, which can be requested from the Somerset County Clerk's office. The deadline to mail a request for a mail-in ballot is seven days before an election (April 20 for this year's school budget and board member voting), or in person at the clerk's office, up to the day before.
