Warren Committee Thanks Restaurants That Donated to 'Best Places' Celebration

Celebration honored Warren Township volunteers and the township's status as one of state's 'Best Places' to live.

Editor's note; The following letter is from the Warren Township Committee, which hosted a Nov. 13 celebration to recognize New Jersey Monthly's naming of Warren as the second-best place to live in the state, and first place in Central Jersey. Local restaurants donated a meal for residents, including many volunteers, following the official meeting.

The Warren Township Committee meeting of November 13, 2013 was held at the Watchung Hills Regional High School in an effort to praise and thank all the Warren Township volunteers whom the Township Committee credits, for our establishment as No. 1 and No. 2 Best Place to Live in New Jersey, by NJ Monthly Magazine.

After the meeting ended, local restaurants were asked, and some volunteered, to provide complementary refreshments from their businesses to celebrate all the volunteers.
