Water Line Work Disrupts Sunday's Flow

Residents living near Mountain Boulevard find service disrupted Sunday afternoon.

Residents living east of Old Stirling Road near Mountain Boulevard found their water supply being disrupted Sunday, as work crews for New Jersey American Water Company worked to repair a valve on a service line on Mountain Boulevard.

"This work was scheduled for Sunday to avoiding impacting the medical office building nearby," NJ American Water Spokesman Richard Barnes said. He added the company placed notices on many houses near the work area on Friday.

"While we shut down that section of water main, there may have been fluctuations in water pressure for some customers," he said.
