Water Main Break Closes Senior Center Thursday
But Meals on Wheels will be delivered.
After a contractor working on a project at the Warrenbrook Golf Course struck and broke a water line serving the course and the nearby Warrenbrook Senior Citizens Center, officials had to order the center closed for Thursday.
Water service to the golf course pro shop and the senior center was shut off after the break.
Senior center Director Gwen Chalker said repairs can't be undertaken until the morning, and since it's not known how long repairs will take, the center was closed for the day. The center is expected to open Friday.

Meals for homebound clients will be delivered on Thursday through the Somerset County Senior Wellness Center in Bernards.
