Band Members Tapped for Honor Performances

Patch Whiz Kids of the Week: Jake Bahr, Nicole D'Angelo and Andrew Helgesen

• Whiz Kids' School: Watchung Hills Regional High School
• Whiz Kids' Accomplishment: Selection for the All State Band by the New Jersey Music Educators Association (for Bahr and D'Angelo), and the Central Jersey Regional Band (D'Angelo and Helgesen).
• Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness: Performing at the level required to be listed among the best in the region or the state requires practice and concentration. The students had to submit audition tapes of required scales and performances, but the judges selected these students for the honor. The Central Jersey Regional Band performed at Montgomery High School in January, and the All State Band performed at the NJPAC during the NJMEA conference at the end of February.
