Biggest Upset of Week 6

Elizabeth, ranked by The Star-Ledger as the No. 13 team in the state, was 5-0 going into this week’s game against Union. Union was an unranked 3-2 team going into the game. But it was Union that won this game, and according to NJ.com, it was the leadership of a sophomore running back that led the team to unexpected victory.

Standout Performance

NJ.com reported that Union’s tailback Jamauri Bogan scored six touchdowns and ran for 376 yards on 50 carries against Elizabeth. This would be an impressive performance against any team, but against an undefeated and highly ranked team like Elizabeth, the sophomore’s performance is unparalleled this season.
