Several area environmental groups, including the Warren Township Green Team and the Watchung Hills Regional High School Environmental Club, are sponsoring a special showing of the Academy-award nominated documentary "Food Inc." in March.
This documentary details the environmental and social impacts of current food production methods, and the show will be followed by a discussion on food production led by Wanda Knapik, owner of “My Local Garden” in Bernardsville.
"Food Inc." will be shown at 7 p.m. March 28 in the Susie B. Boyce Meeting Room at the municipal complex. The presentation is sponsored by the Warren Township Green Team, the Warren Township Committee, Warren Recreation Commission, the Watchung Hills Regional High School Environmental Club, and the Recreation Departments and Green Teams of Watchung, Long Hill and Green Brook.
