Hunsinger, Przybylski Join Watchung HiIls Regional Board

Elected in November, new members dive into discussions.

The Watchung Hills Regional Board of Education held its first-ever January reorganization meeting Thursday, adding new members Gregory Przybuylski, of Warren, and Barry Hunsinger, of Watchung.

Long Hill resident Chris Collins, finishing the term of Lou Pepe, was also sworn-in at the meeting.

Board members elected Robert Horowitz to serve another year as board president, and approved appointments and assignments for the year. Following the 6 p.m. re-organization meeting, the board moved quickly into its first regular meeting of the new year, with Dr. Przybylski and Hunsinger quickly joining in the board discussions.

Dr. Przybylski—who has served for several years as president of the Warren Township Board of Education—asked for committee meeting reports to include indications of who the committee chairs so newer members will know whom to contact with any questions, as well as several points of clarification during discussion of the semi-annual harassment, intimidation and bullying report.

Hunsinger, who has been following the board from the audience since his election, also joined in the discussions.
