School Set Delayed Openings For Thursday

Statements from both school distircts.

Warren Township schools:

As of November 2, 2011 at 8:30 PM, all schools have power but Mount Horeb School. We will be running a delayed opening schedule tomorrow, November 3, 2011 for all schools except Mount Horeb School. Mount Horeb School will be closed.

Bus routes may have some areas that are not accessible. Parents should exercise extreme caution when taking children to bus routes. Parents should also know that if they drive their children to school because of problematic bus stops, they should be prepared to pick them up later from school if the bus can not get to that particular stop. If buses can not get to a stop, children will return to school and parents will be contacted.

Additionally, Mount Horeb parents should listen for a reverse 911 call or check the web site later tonight and first thing tomorrow. If power is restored at Mount Horeb tonight, Mount Horeb will also run on a delayed opening schedule.

Delayed Opening Schedule:
Middle 10:00 AM
ALT 10:10 AM
Central and Woodland 10:40 AM
