Science Can Be...Scary

Woodland School students get a closer look at creepy, crawly and forensic science.

students enjoyed a special day of science Friday, getting their hands dirty planting seeds, examing fingerprints, digging for fossils...or touching an albino python.

The event is organized each year by the school's PTO, and this year featured presentations by Detectives Kevin Gallagher and Ron Roselli, Somerset County 4H, Julie Gnoy from , Dinosaur hunter Neal Brown, Mad Science, and Rizzo's Reptiles' Dominick Rizzo.

Event Co-chairwomen Kim Palmeri-Naman, Noel Martillo and Catherine Niemeyer arranged for the presentations, and scheduled the day-long activities.
