Township District Hires New Business Secretary

Patricia Leonhardt OK'd after hour-long interview and discussion at Monday's meeting.

Holland Township resident Patricia A. Leonhardt was approved as the new business administrator and board secretary for the Warren Township School District, Monday. 

"I am so happy to come to Warren Township," Leonhardt said Wednesday. "It is a strong school district, and I am thrilled to be a member of the administrative team."

She will begin her new duties "on or about" Nov. 14, under terms of a contract dated Sept. 12. Until that time, Robert Zeglarski will continue as temporary BA/Board secretary.

Further details on Leonhardt's contract have not been released.

Leonhardt is currently serving in the same capacity for the Clinton Township and the Lebanon Borough school districts. She has also been the business administrator and board secretary for the South Bound Brook School District.

Leonhardt holds a bachelors in mathematics from Iona College, and a  masters in Educational Administration from Rider University.
