Township School Board Reaches Contract With Administrators

But must wait for fact finder to make progress on staff and teachers' contracts.

The Warren Township Board of Education announced contract terms have been agreed upon with the Warren Township Administrators Association, which represents the district's school principals, vice-principals and other administrators.

The agreement comes as talks with the Warren Township Education Association, which represents the district teachers and staff members, remains in limbo. The two sides are waiting for a state-approved fact finder to review contract terms and make a ruling; no date for the fact finding has been set.

Terms of the WTAA agreement, which will be in effect from July 1, 2011, to June 30, 2014, include a 1.5 percent increase in the first year; and 1.75 percent increases in the second and third years.
