Volunteers Needed to Help Township Schools Share Strategic Plans

Tuesday deadline to RSVP if you can help.

The Warren Township School District is hoping to find some local experts in social media and communication to help inform the community about the district's strategic planning.

Residents with social media experience, skills and knowledge can help the district find creative ways to facilitate and strengthen two-way communication between the school and community.  If you live or work in Warren and have a passion for technology, especially social media tools, please consider volunteering to assist Superintendent Tami Crader in accomplishing the following goals:

  • Development of clear guidelines for the use of Facebook and other social media tools.
  • Creation of interesting and creative ideas for facilitating two-way communication.
  • Planning of a yearlong plan for monitoring the district’s communication methods.

Meetings to formulate the social media presence will be held at the board of education office at the following times:

  • Brainstorm list of ways the district’s brand can be utilized to inspire and motivate students, staff, parents, and community members.
