The fields cost approximately $20,000 a year to maintain; the annual expense for line striping is about $4,500 annually.

“They have done a lot of improvements there,” said board member Don Huber. “They have a lot of good things that maintain it.”

“We feel that $2,500 a year would be reasonable. We seem to be a primary user,” dr. Crader explained. A member of the audience pointed out that other groups who also use the property (such as the soccer clubs) are contributing to maintenance as well.

The money will be incorporated into the budget and go directly to the line striping firm and not to the non-profit organization. The amount would stay at $2,500 annually unless the board determines there is a need for it to be revisited.
