Warren Township Public Schools are now accepting applications for the school district's integrated preschool classes for three and four-year-old Warren Township children for the 2014-15 school year, to begin next fall. Integrated classes are made up of students both with and without special needs.

Enrollment in the program is limited, so those who wish to enroll children are encouraged to act early.

To be eligible, children must turn four years old on or before October 1, 2014, or turn three years old on or before October 1, 2014 for the younger class.

The classes for both age groups are held at Mount Horeb School, located at 80 Mount Horeb Road, on Mondays through Thursdays.

Cost includes busing

The three-year-old program meets from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and the four-year-old class meets from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The cost for this program is $250 per month and includes busing.

An open house for the program is scheduled to be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on January 10 at Mt. Horeb School.

Applications for September 2014 enrollment will be available during the open house, and also at the Board of Education Office, 213 Mount Horeb Road.

Completed applications should be returned to the Board of Education Office no later than January 24, 2014. Students will be selected on a lottery basis.

Applicants must provide proof of residency in Warren Township and the child's birth certificate, as well as meeting age requirements. Students who are eligible for kindergarten in September 2014 will not be eligible for the preschool program.
