Orchestra and bands entertain with seasonal and classical music.

The Watchung Hills Regional High School musical bands and orchestra entertained parents, relatives and friends with an assortment of Christmas, seasonal, classical and even a patriotic number at last night's Winter Instrumental Concert.

Music included the Christmas music "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," "Deck the Hall," and "Angels We Have Heard on High" performed by the Brass in Black group, directed by Bonnie Burgdorf, and seasonal music "A Lullaby for Christmas," performed by the Concert Band, and "Jingle Bells" and "Sleigh Ride," performed by the Wind Ensemble.

Five members of the String Orchestra and Wind Ensemble were selected to the 2012 Region II State Orchestra and Wind Ensemble. Musicians selected were: Felix Kung and Albert Zeng (violin), Victor Li (Viola), Sebastian Kogler (horn), and Jake Bahr (trombone).
