Rescheduled Watchung Hills 8th Grade Orientation Coming Up Thursday

Tuesday night's parent orientation was postponed until later in week.

Tuesday night's scheduled Watchung Hills High School Board of Education meeting has been called off due to the snow. The next meeting of the board now is scheduled for Feb. 4, according to the board office and school website.

At this point, it appears that Tuesday night's agenda will be carried until the Feb. 4 school board meeting, said Dot Braun, executive assistant to the superintendent.

The Warren Township Board of Education scheduled for Tuesday night also has been postponed. That meeting has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. next Monday, Jan. 27, at the Central School, according to the school district website.

Also at Watchung Hills High School, the parent orientation for eighth grade students entering the high school next year also has been postponed until 7 p.m. on Thursday night, according to the school's website.

Because of the continuing snow, the regional high school had dismissed students at noon on Tuesday.
