Fans of the Week: Frank Gomes and Kim Moseley
Gomes says his son has learned the intangibles as a member of the Watchung Hills freshman team.
Frank Gomes, whose son Ben is a freshman football player for Watchung Hills Regional High School, loves the intangibles his son has learned through the sport.
"The whole team effort and working together as a team is great, the commitment to the team," he said. "Then there is the whole commitment itself to playing which I like."
While his son's team fell to 0-2 Friday night, Gomes was hoping the same fate didn't await his favorite pro team, the Giants.

"I think they are going to struggle," he said. "They didn't spend the money on the team in the off-season and it's going to show."
