Head to Hoops Camp to Sharpen Your Skills

Watchung Hills Regional High School hosts week-long camps beginning Next week.

Watchung Hills Regional Head Basketball Coach Justin Salton will be leading clinics for young players at this summer's Hoops Camps.

The week-long camps open Monday, with two daily sessions offered through the end of July. The first and third weeks are for boys, followed by two weeks of girls' hoops. The week of July 5 through 8 is coed.

"Our camps are designed to help our community children learn the fundamental skills of the game through drills, contests, and games taught by the Watchung Hills coaching staff, current and former players, teachers, and other area coaches," the Hoops Camp website notes. "In addition, sportsmanship and teamwork are emphasized with a concentration on having fun for children of all ages and levels of play."
