Linden found a weakness in the defensive line in the third quarter, turning the advantage the Warriors had held in first downs to their advantage. Linden marched downfield to score with about three minutes left in the quarter.

But the Warriors responded quickly to maintain the 14 point lead at the end of the third quarter.

Linden continued to pound away on the ground, scoring again in the fourth. Watchung Hills turned the ball over on downs, and Linden was again working towards the goal but failed to get a first down deep in Warriors territory.

The Warriors moved the ball back and scored the game's final points with less than a 1:30 left in the game.
