The Warriors come into this season with a lot of young talent.  After graduating just three players from last year’s squad, first year head coach Mike D’Alessandro and his team will try to make a strong push for the state playoffs.  The Warriors are looking to tighten up their fundamentals and do the little things right.

Last season’s results

The Warriors put up a 6-15 record in the regular season and did not qualify for the state playoffs.

Coach’s Take

“I want to be competitive in all of our games and win a lot more of them [than last year].  We’re in a very tough conference.  So realistically, we cant go out there and expect to be top dog right away.  If we do lose games, I want to play them very tough.  I do think we’re going to be noticeably better.  I really feel we have a much-improved product out there.” – D’Alessandro

They said it

“I think we have a really good future.  Mr. D’Alessandro has really put together a good future [for the team] and it’s good for the program.  We have really good chemistry and everyone’s really good friends.  I think we mesh well.  The seniors have been working with the younger players and it’s going well.” – Jamie Schoenbach, Senior Outfielder
