Time For Midget Cheerleaders to Shine at Nationals
After debut of younger group, Pop Warner's second team in nationals set to compete.
Friday afternoon, a second group of Watchung Hills-area cheerleaders will be on stage at the National Cheer Championship in Orlando, Fla.
The Midget squad, coached by Cindy Braunstein and Kris Trimble, follows the debut of Watchung Hills Pop Warner cheerleaders at the national competition by the Jr. Pee Wee squad (they took second-place honors in their division competition Monday).
The Midgets qualified for the national after dominating conference and state competitions in October, as well as taking first place at the Eastern Regional Competition Nov. 12.
