Warren Student Participates in Taekwondo Junior Olympics

Warren student Cordelia Ortega participated in the 2011 Junior Olympics for Taekwondo, held at the San Jose Convention Center in California June 28—July 3.

Nearly 4,500 students competed in this event. Cordelia joined fellow students from World Champion’s K Taekwondo in Chatham at te event, where they won home five medals. The competitors from World Champion’s K Taekwondo included Liam Bourke, of Madison; Ian McLean, of Berkeley Heights; Griffin Keenan and Jackson Devico, both of Chatham.

The students study under Master Byung Uk Kim, a 7th degree black belt and World Champion.
