Ultimate Frisbee Teams Ready for National Field [VIDEO]
Nationally-ranked boys and girls teams compete in surprising sport.
sports boys and girls Ultimate Frisbee teams competing throughout New Jersey and in competitions with team from all over the Northeast.
In 2011, the girl's team was the state champion and placed third in the US Eastern Championships. They were also ranked fifth in the country. The boys team placed second in the state championships.
The sport is played on a field 70 yards long and 40 yards wide with 25 yard deep end zones. Like soccer or football, the game involves passing and constant movement to get the frisbee into the end zone.

The Spring schedule includes the O'Hara Invitational (girls) April 30-May 1, the NJ High School Division II Championships May 7-8, USA Eastern Championships May 21-22 and the NJ High School Championships May 28-29.
