Warren's 12U summer travel team, The Warren Wolverines won the New Providence Green League Championship game on July 26th against Scotch Plains/Fanwood with a final score of 6-5.

The season began June 10th and the dedicated team played three games per week and practiced through playoffs.

Head Coach Rob Snyder's positive motivation led the close knit team into the championship.

The team includes players Matt Drews, Gio Colatruglio, Nick Isherwood, Nabeel Jan, Adam Claxton, Derek Mobus, Tanner Hogan, Nick Ciraulo, Dan Snyder, James Falivne, Anthony Yarussi, JW Maher, Scott Hoffman and Mike Hardy. Coaches are Keith Hogan,  Ken Yarussi, Brian Isherwood, Rob Snyder (head coach) and John Ciraulo.

"I have never been prouder of a team I have coached than I am of this group of 12U players," Coach Brian Isherwood said.  "They never gave up and they battled back so many times and every single one of them contributed to this winning season."

Player Mike Hardy's mom added that "Winning is great but having fun doing it makes it all that much better!"

"The boys really progressed nicely throughout the season making it a lot of fun," coach Keith Hogan said. "Our last four games were very close one-run winners ...these are the games that you remember for a long time and learn from to get better and better."
