Wrestlers Charge to Early Lead to Defeat North Plainfield

Seniors help pin down a solid victory for Watchung Hills Regional.

After jumping to an early lead in Wednesday's wrestling match against North Plainfield, the Warriors saw their slim shrink before a strong finish captured the victory. The final tally was 47-14.

Overview

The match celebrated the team's seniors, with an opening ceremony honoring Kyle Celeste, Mike DiVito, Alex Fornelos, Avery Montasser, Kyle Murray, Matt Nielson and Jack Young. Some of the seniors who haven't been regular starters this season were added to the night's card, and helped secure the team win.
