Watchung Hills Lacrosse: Senior Signing Day For College

WARREN, NJ - Watchung Hills Regional High School Athletic Director Scott Eveland and Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Jamie Lovejoy are proud to announce the intent of four student athletes to continue their academic and athletic endeavors in college:

2014, Defenseman “Jared Roche” – Commitment to Division I Mount St. Mary’s

Jared Roche is a three-year Varsity letter winner for the Warriors. While on defense he is usually a long stick midfielder, playing as a Close Defenseman. Roche is number 22 for Watchung Hills.

2014, Defenseman and Co-Captain “Danny Phillips” – Commitment to Division III Western New England

Danny Phillips is a three-year starting defenseman for the Warriors. He demonstrated versatility on the field as a Defensive Midfielder, Long Stick Midfielder and Close Defenseman. Phillips is number 38 for the Warriors.

2014, Face-off Specialist, Defensive Midfielder and Co-Captain “Zack Melillo” – Commitment to Division I NJIT

Zack Melillo is a three-year starter for the Warriors and does most, if not all of the face-offs during the game. He began the sport his sophomore year of high school, and was dominant right from the beginning. Melillo is also the captain of the football team. He is number 26.

2014, Defenseman Co-Captain “Matt Rozmerksi” – Commitment to Division III Cabrini (Currently Ranked #3 in the USILA Coaches Poll)

Matt Rozmerski is a three-year starting defenseman for the Warriors and uses a long stick while on defense. Rozmerski is also the starting defensive back on the football team. He is number 34.
