Watchung Hills Football Notches Second Win of Season

It was a beautiful night with an overflow crowd at the Warriors' home stadium on Friday, and the Watchung Hills varsity football team celebrated the evening with a 26-7 victory over Warren Hills, the Warriors' second victory of the season.
 

WHRHS Scholarship Fundraiser For Navy Seal and Watchung Hills Grad Lost in Combat

Matthew Kantor was a 2008 Watchung Hills graduate and decorated Navy Seal who died in combat in Afghanistan last November. His former teacher, Chris Gibson, wanted to do something special to honor Kantor — and worked with Kantor's family to establish a memorial scholarship fund. 
To raise funds for the scholarship, Gibson is coordinating a golf outing, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11. Kantor was from the Gillette section of Long Hill Township, Gibson said.
