Keep Watchung Hills HS History Sequence As Is, Teachers Request

Although there is a recommendation on the table to move U.S. History I and II to sophomore and junior years — as is common at other high schools — some teachers at the school said they would prefer to leave the current usual sequence of taking European History sophomore year, followed by U.S. History junior and senior years. The proposal next goes before the Board of Education's curriculum committee.

The annual Holiday Boutique at Wagner Farm Arboretum kicks off Dec. 13, and will provide a fun place to look for crafts, wearables and edibles and all sorts of unique items that will make good gifts. The sale also benefits the arboretum.

It's time for dropping off Santa letters for local children, which will arrive later; the Warren Township branch of the Somerset County Library remains closed for repainting and other improvements, but some programs have been moved next door to the Warren courtroom.
