Warren Committee Proceeding With Plans for $4.3-Million Municipal Annex

The Warren Township Committee has asked its professional staff to move ahead with laying the ground work for funding and construction of a municipal annex anticipated to cost about $4.3 million. The expansion would house updated police and municipal facilities. Officials say the tab should be mostly covered by tax income from new residential construction under a pilot program.

Tract Near Missing Man's Home Still Focus of Search

David Bird, 55, of the Millington section in Long Hill Township now has been missing for two solid weeks, and the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said mid-week there was no new information. The search still was focused on the same area around Bird's home, but was suspended temporarily in the snow.

Warren Residents Cautioned About Roads, Emergency Preparations

Warren Township, including drivers and students in local schools, had no choice but to slow down during a snowstorm that started on Tuesday and continued into Wednesday morning.
