The theft of what was estimated at $2,000 worth of tomatoes taken from a field owned by the Country Gentleman Fruit & Produce on Washington Valley Road in Warren Township is still being investigated, Warren Township police reported this week. 

Warren Township Students, Somewhat Fewer Than Last Year, Return to School on Monday

Warren Township schools opened on Monday with roughly 100 fewer students than last year, with Schools Superintendent Tami Crader saying that students in the kindergarten through grade 8 school district were very excited to return.
As of enrollment figures late last week, the school year is starting with just more than 1,950 students, compared with 2,047 at the start of last year. The most populated grade this year is the eighth grade, according to school district figures. Grade seven follows with 239 students.

Warren Township Officials Want to Celebrate Being Named No. 2 'Best Place' in NJ Monthly List

Warren officials want to combine an event that recognizes local volunteers with a celebration of the township being named no. 2 on New Jersey Monthly's list this year of Top Places to Live in New Jersey.
