Britain to Invade Warren (Musically) on Saturday

Carnaby Street! The Music of the British Invasion, will be presented at the Warren court room.

"Carnaby Street! The Music of the British Invasion" will be hosted by
Warren Library at 2 p.m. this Saturday.

However, since the Warren Township branch of the Somerset County Library remains closed for repainting and other improvements, the musical presentation will be held next door at the Warren courtroom at 44 Mountain Blvd. The event is free.

Following the huge success of his band RAVE ON! at the Warren library, Chris Roselle will be back for another fun concert, this time with his group, Carnaby St.

From the British invasion to psychedelic rock and one-hit-wonders, Carnaby St. recreates the musically magical decade that was the sixties. The audience will be transported into the heart of pop music's favorite era, featuring timeless songs from The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, the Rolling Stones, The Monkees, and more.

Whether you are from the "greatest generation," the "net generation" or any time in between, Carnaby St.'s fresh take on the music of the fabulous sixties is sure to get you rocking.
