Santa, Snowed Out Last Saturday, To Be at Holiday Boutique This Weekend

You can just drop in on Saturday to see Santa at Wagner Farm Arboretum in Warren.

Sure, Santa could have made it in his sled while dashing through the snow to Wagner Farm Arboretum's Holiday Boutique in last Saturday's storm. But he wanted to make sure that drivers were safe, too, so his appearance has been rescheduled for this Saturday at the boutique inside the arboretum in Warren Township.

Families who wish to visit Santa either can just show up to buy tickets or purchase the tickets online.

Santa will be at the Holiday Boutique from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The $10 tickets, which contributes to fundraising for the preserved township-owned arboretum, includes the visit with Santa, a gift for the child, and a photo to keep, according to the arboretum.

Wagner Farm Arboretum has scheduled this year's Holiday Boutique from Friday, Dec. 13 through Sunday, Dec. 22, with Santa set to fly in to greet children on Sat., Dec. 14.

Whether visitors are looking for a special gift, small hostess gifts and tasty holiday treats, or jewelry to dress up their winter look, the holiday boutique will offer the work of local artisans and vendors set out on display. Dozens of participating vendors had signed up, said Suzanne Smith, president of the non-profit preserved arboretum at 197 Mountain Ave. in Warren.
