In the 1980s, pop singer Michael Jackson brought Halloween to every day with his popular MTV video for "Thriller." For those who miss the tribute to creature features, a group of five dancers from Take Flight Dance Center, of Millington, are scaring visitors at this year's Brite Nites with their performance of the "Thriller" dance routine. The dance group is being sponsored by the Recreation Commission, with Rec Director Eleanora Hermann directing the show, that includes the performance in the "graveyard" created by Warren Blue Ridge Sportsmen's Club, with donations from Bob Marino and the Michael Craig Band. Brite Nites continues Friday, with gates opening at 7 p.m. Tickets for this weekend's final shows are available through the Wagner …

Haunted house, pumpkin carving featured in this year's event in Warren.
The annual Brite Nites show opened to a sold-out crowd Saturday after rain cancelled Friday night's festivities at the Wagner Farm Arboretum. Brite Nites, which runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights through Oct. 28, includes spooky music, carved pumpkins, a haunted house and refreshments. This year's display includes eight scenes that get increasingly scary as you head through the haunted house. For information and to purchase tickets, visit the Brite Nites page on the WFA website.

The first frightful night of fun at Wagner Farm Arboretum for the Halloween season has been washed away. Brite Nites was to begin Friday at 7 p.m., with the event continuing on Saturday and Sunday, and then again next Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However, the hard rain that swept the area caused the cancellation of the first evening. According to the website, there will be no refunds given, but those who have already purchased tickets can go at another time during the other nights of the event. However, the site recommends not coming for 7 p.m., due to a large amount of presales for that time slot. Each night has three time slots: 7, 7:30 and 8. This year's Brite Nites will build on last year's vignettes to a suitably-scary ending. And …

The Haunted Showcase at Wagner Farm Arboretum's annual event will raise the hair on your neck.
We won't give away any spoilers, but let's just say this year's Brite Nites at Wagner Farm Arboretum will build on last year's vignettes to a suitably-scary ending. And thanks to a crew of volunteers assembled by the event's head "ghoulmeister," Bill Ward, of Basking Ridge, visitors can check their fear levels in a tented area where eight different scenes are played out for the audience's enjoyment. "They (the scenes) graduate—the beginning is for family, for the younger ones," Ward said Friday while preparing one of the scenes. "And it gets scarier as you go." Ward's theatrical background and skill with staging, make-up and lighting help make scenes from horror movies or imagined thrills come alive in the Haunted Showcase. Of course, the…

The popular event draws visitors from the area to the display with more than 1,000 carved pumpkins, a haunted house, refreshments and activities for kids, including face-painting. Volunteers can help out with the following: Before the event: During the event: After the event: Brite Nites will be held Oct. 19, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28. I think we're going to plump for http://www.outletcoachstoday.com the bigger one. It won't be the http://www.coachoutletod.com easiest to tow behind our push-bikes, http://www.coachs-outletcar.com particularly over Berlin's cobbles, but it will make http://www.coachoutletdp.com for swifter trips to interviews, http://www.coachoutletwo.com and it will save money for the licence-payer. http://www.…   more ›
