JP the Clown recently visited the school to promote the circus coming to River Road Park.
In preparation for the Bedminster-Far Hills First Aid Squad’s annual circus Fundraiser, JP the Clown recently visited the Bedminster Township School. The circus will be coming to River Road Park in Bedminster June 16, with two showings at 2 and 5 p.m. Before each showing, guests have the opportunity to ride an elephant, camel or pony, and the public is welcome to show up at 9 a.m. and watch as the big top goes up. A portion of the advanced ticket sales will benefit the Bedminster-Far Hills First Aid Squad, which provides ambulance services to Far Hills and Bedminster. WorldatWork's Alliance for Work-Life Progress, an advocacy group aimed at getting more employers to include work/life balance considerations in company policies, recently conducted a study on the topic—and found men and women both cite having time for family as a top concern. The group issued a press release Monday, noting that most men responding to their polling said “finding time to spend with family” is their top work-life challenge. “The notion that men care less than women about work-place flexibility needs to be debunked,” said Kathie Lingle, executive director, WorldatWork’s Alliance for Work-Life Progress, said in the release. “As we celebrate Father’s Day, men across the world struggle balancing work and family responsibilities. …
