Elected in November, new members dive into discussions.
The Watchung Hills Regional Board of Education held its first-ever January reorganization meeting Thursday, adding new members Gregory Przybuylski, of Warren, and Barry Hunsinger, of Watchung. Board members elected Robert Horowitz to serve another year as board president, and approved appointments and assignments for the year. Following the 6 p.m. re-organization meeting, the board moved quickly into its first regular meeting of the new year, with Dr. Przybylski and Hunsinger quickly joining in the board discussions. Dr. Przybylski—who has served for several years as president of the Warren Township Board of Education—asked for committee …

I would like to continue my commitment to community service by representing my fellow Warren residents on the Watchung Hills Regional High School Board of Education. I am supporting Dr. Gregory Przybylski in the upcoming school board election as Warren’s representative to the Watchung Hills Regional High School Board of Education. I’ve had the pleasure of serving five years on the Warren Township School Board alongside Dr. Przybylski, two of those years as his vice-president. Greg is passionate about quality public education in addition to being fiscally responsible. He has six children, the older two currently attending WHRHS. What impresses me the most about Greg is his unique ability to immediately grasp issues and synthesize them in a way to assist others. He recognizes the value of a board working together. His calm demeanor and patience in listening to other viewpoints allowed the board to …

Three file for Warren's board, but there's a contest for the high school seat.
Current Warren Township Board of Education President Gregory Przybylski, of Quail Run, will not seek re-election this year, but will instead seek the seat on the Watchung Hills Regional board held by Gregory Lane resident Peter Fallon. Przybylski, Fallone and local real estate agent Diane Belcuore, of Angus Lane, filed petitions to have their names on the ballot in the first November voting on school board members. The deadline for filing nominating petitions was 4 p.m. Tuesday, and according to Deputy Somerset County Clerk Roseann Brown, three residents filed to run for the three seats on the Warren board, in addition to the three seeking the Watchung Hills Regional seat. Reinman Road resident Kathy Helewa, who was named to complete the …
