Accident Causes Power Outage
Warren police say Friday accident damaged utility pole.
Two accidents on June 22 involved electrical power lines and connections in Warren. At 11:07 a.m., Emily Helgeson, 17, hit a utility pole on Mt. Horeb Road, near Stardust Drive, at about 11:07 a.m. after swerving to avoid hitting a deer. The impact cracked the pole, causing a brief power outage in the area. Then, at 7:15 p.m., a power line downed in a storm got caught on a vehicle driven by Nicole Goodling, 29, of Warren. No injuries were reported. Crews from JCP&L responded to repair the line.
