Angelo Fiorenza injured when vehicle hits utility pole on Morning Glory Road.
Green Brook resident Angelo Fiorenza, 21, was taken to Somerset Medical Center after the vehicle he was driving on Morning Glory Road, near Sunny Slope Drive, went off the roadway and struck a utility pole at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police said Fiorenza received lacerations when his vehicle rolled over after the crash, and he was taken to Somerset Medical Center for treatment of the injuries. Information on his status was not available from the hospital. Following the investigation, police charged Fiorenza with driving while intoxicated, as well as careless driving, reckless driving, and disregarding of the marked lanes.

Warren police say careless driving caused chained-reaction rear-endings.
Daniel McCoy, 56, of Millington, was charged with careless driving at 3:17 p.m. Monday after the vehicle he was driving hit the rear of another vehicle, causing a four-vehicle accident on Mt. Bethel Road, near Central School. The accident forced the vehicle hit by McCoy, driven by Nadia Lago-Adler, 44, of Basking Ridge, to hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Patricia Edelman, 40, of Warren, which was then forced into a vehicle driven by Paula Noguiera, 52, also of Warren. Lago-Adler was taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment of injuries. McCoy and Edelman refused treatment for injuries at the accident location.

Warren police also report four accidents requiring hospitalization this week.
Berkeley Heights resident John Blasch, 47, was charged with multiple moving violations, including driving under the influence and obstructing justice, after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident on Hillcrest Road at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. He was taken into custody and subsequently released after the charges were filed, pending an appearance in municipal court. The incident was one of seven accidents reported this week by Warren police—five of which involved vehicles hitting the rear of another. Warren police say woman failed to follow traffic signal before hitting motorcyclist.
Warren resident Jeff Gutkin, 51, was taken to Somerset Medical Center after he was struck while riding a motorcycle on Mountain Boulevard, at Mt. Bethel Road, at 7:26 p.m. Tuesday. Police charged Kim Maloney, 46, Bridgewater, with failing to observe the westbound traffic signal after the vehicle she was driving hit Gutkin's motorcycle. Rescue squad volunteers responded to the accident and took Gutkin to Somerset Medical Center. Hospital officials have not responded to a request for information on Gutkin's condition. Warren Township police reports.
A Stony Brook Drive resident said her purse, containing a passport and about $200 in Euros, was taken from her home. The report was made April 10. Police responded to the scene and filed the report. Also on April 10, police said a Chestnut Hill resident reported an attempted fraudulent charge to a credit card. The resident said someone attempted to make a $343.93 purchase on thier American Express card.

Warren Township police reports.
A Ferguson Road resident reported several items were missing from the residence, including several pieces of jewelry and $1,500 cash. The report was made at 8:59 p.m. Tuesday. Earlier, a Sandalwood Drive resident had reported fraudulent credit card charges totaling $950 had been made on their accounts. Police are investigating the incidents.

A Stirling Road business reported someone entered a bus parked at the business during the night of April 7 and kicked out a number of windows, police said. The damage was reported at 9:46 a.m. April 8, and estimates of the cost to repair the damage in $2,000.

Residents report bank account activity; Antonio's Pizza says someone posed as utility worker.
Warren police received three complaints by residents of fraud or identity theft between Thursday and Saturday. The first report was received at 12:38 p.m. Thursday, when a Morning Glory Road resident discovered withdrawals from a business account had been made, totaling $599.70. None of the reported withdrawals were authorized, according to the resident. Then, at 3:39 p.m., police received a complaint by Antonio's Pizza that someone claiming to represent a utility company had contacted the business requesting payment. Store owners reported sending an undisclosed amount of money.
