Warren Township police reports.
A Stony Brook Drive resident said her purse, containing a passport and about $200 in Euros, was taken from her home. The report was made April 10. Police responded to the scene and filed the report. Also on April 10, police said a Chestnut Hill resident reported an attempted fraudulent charge to a credit card. The resident said someone attempted to make a $343.93 purchase on thier American Express card.

Warren Township Police report break-ins.
Two Blazier Road residents reported vehicles broken into, police said. The reports were made Friday afternoon, with the first made at 3:45 p.m., when a resident reported two pairs of sunglasses, valued at $250, were taken from a vehicle parked in the driveway. The second report was made at 4:22 p.m. The resident said about $20 in quarters was taken. The break-ins followed two occurring on Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.

Three Pennsylvania men face charges following motor vehicle stop on Interstate 78.
Two Pennsylvania men and a teen were charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell following a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 78 after midnight Friday, Warren Police said. Damon Hoppe-Pilat, 18, of Reading, Pa., Jaqwan Saunders, 23, of Mohnton, Pa., and a 17-year-old male passenger from Muhlenberg, Pa., were each charged with third-degree possession with intent to distribute. The traffic stop occurred at about 12:35 a.m. Saunders was also charged with possession of less than 50 gram of marijuana. Third-degree drug crimes carry the possibility of three to five years imprisonment, plus fines. All three were released on their own recognizance after the charges were filed, pending appearances in municipal court.

Incident occurred sometime on Tuesday at Newark Avenue residence.
A Newark Avenue resident reported a burglary occurring sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday, police said. The resident said a desktop computer, valued at $1,100, was taken in the burglary.

Warren Police investigate vehicle burglary.
An Olsen Drive resident reported $25 cash had been stolen from a vehicle parked at the residence. The report was made at 9:22 a.m. Sunday. The resident said the theft occurred sometime overnight. Police filed a report on the incident.

17-year-old cited for careless driving after striking bus on Mountain Boulevard, police said.
Luis Rodriguez, 17, of Warren, was charged with careless driving after the vehicle he was driving on Mountain Boulevard hit the side of a school bus on Mountain Boulevard, near Bardy Road, Wednnesday morning. Police said the bus, driven by Thomas Gottlick, 74, of Martinsville, was headed to school with students aboard, but no injuries were reported.

Window broken for entry to closed shop, police said.
A window was broken to gain entry into Warren Auto, on Morning Glory Road, sometime over the weekend, police said. Police received the report at about 9:20 a.m. Monday that an undetermined amount of coins were taken in the burglary. The incident is still under invetsigation.

Warren resident says a former friend forged check for $800.
A Tina Lane resident reported Monday an incident of forgery, involving a former friend of the victim, Warren Township Police said. According to the police report, the resident said the friend had forged an $800 check. Police also received a report of an iPhone, valued at $600, stolen from inside a Mountain Avenue residence. The theft was reported at 5:37 p.m.

Mt. Bethel Road business reports theft, Hilltop Road resident said home was broken into.
Warren police investigated two incidents over the weekend involving theft, one a burglary. On Friday, a Mt. Bethel Road business reported the theft of a necklace, valued at $189, occurring on Nov. 28. At 8:30 p.m. Saturday, a Hilltop Road resident reported a burglary to the property sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. The homeowner was still determining what items may have been taken.

Aberdeen Township resident charged with simple assault and criminal mischief.
Melissa Mosinak, 30, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen Township, was charged Thursday with simple assault and criminal mischief. Police said Mosinak assaulted an acquaintance at about 8:25 p.m., and damaged items inside a Stockade Road residence. She was taken into custody and released to a friend after the charges were filed.
