Senator Hopes Warren Resolution Helps Traffic Cameras Petition

A bill aiming to end the use of red light cameras to catch drivers running traffic signals in New Jersey may get a boost, thanks to the Warren Township Committee's support. The committee approved a resolution last week supporting S-1952, sponsored by Michael Doherty, R-Washington, which would ban the cameras' use. Sen. I am currently in Sydney, Australia on vacation and the use of red cameras is widespread over here. There are signs about 1 mile before the light, warning motorists that a red camera district is just ahead, and more immediately ahead of them, as well as marks on the road.
