Watchung Hills Regional Ranked 44th by NJ Magazine
School moves up four spots from 2010 survey.
A new ranking of New Jersey schools by New Jersey Monthly magazine puts Watchung Hills Regional at no. 44, based on the such criteria as the school environment, student performance and educational outcomes. The magazine ranked 328 schools in the state for the article. The survey is the magazine's first since 2010, when Watchung Hills came in at no. 48. This year's top school in the ranking was New Providence High School. Accoridng to the magazine, the rankings were calculated by Ringwood-based research company Leflein Associates, based on several areas of school performance and effectiveness. MRSP-The New Jersey Monthly ranking includes 328 schools, so no. 44 is in the top 15 percent. How much difference is there between the schools?
