Township's Teen Concert Rescheduled

Friday's performance by Glass Cow moved to Oct. 5.

UPDATE: The concert scheduled for Friday has been reschedueld to 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 5. After claiming first place in last year's Battle of the Bands sponsored by the Warren Township Recreation Commission, Glass Cow seemed to have scared off the competition. Recreation Commission Director Eleanora Hermann said too few bands registered for a reprise battle this summer, but two groups from last year—Glass Cow and Short Circuit—signed up. Instead of facing off, the bands are enjoying solo performances at the municipal complex. "The two bands that signed up asked if they could still play—I agreed and they felt Friday night was best for teens," Hermann said. About 60 people attended last week's concert, but Glass Cow could pull a larger crowd…
