ReplyHere's what I believe is the schedule: executive session starts at 6, followed by the public hearing and the special session. The work session will probably be last. But I could be wrong and I'll let you know if I find out more. All three agendas for tonight have 6 pm as the starting time.

Chris, as a financial and business reporter, I surveyed Wall Street analysts and economists before government reports were released, so that investors would know whether the reported numbers were above or below expectations. If readers don't believe the government report (which is a very scary thought to me), here's Bloomberg's survey of economists for the July numbers: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-08-12/retail-sales-probably-increased-in-july-u-s-economy-preview.html

The latest inflation rate we have for the U.S. (July 2012) is 1.4 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics: http://www.bls.gov/news.release/cpi.nr0.htm -
